From the time I was born, I was raised in the Catholic faith. I spent my formative years deeply involved in both the church and our hometown community. By the time I reached my teenage years, it seemed like everyone expected me to pursue a path towards becoming a Catholic priest. After graduating from the Catholic high school that I attended, I took on the role of a youth mentor for the Catholic diocese. As a young adult, I pursued further education to become a teacher within the church, instructing youth in their sacramental rights.
However, at the age of 22, a realization struck me — something felt amiss. I began questioning the absence of what I believed to be biblical principles in the Mass and even in my own instruction. Eventually, I made the difficult decision to leave the Catholic Church. When I turned 25, my life took a transformative turn when a group of people from a local Baptist church visited me. It was on my porch that night that I surrendered my life to Christ, discovering the missing piece I had been searching for.
Deepening my understanding of the Bible and cultivating a genuine relationship with the Lord, I felt a calling to share the Gospel with the world. Embracing this calling, I embarked on a journey of evangelism. It wasn't until I met my wife that I fully answered the call to ministry. Together, we attended a biblical college in Las Vegas, graduated, and were ordained.
Since then, I have served in various capacities, including as a Lead Pastor, church-planting pastor, ministry pastor, and instructor at the very school where we received our education. My life's journey has been a testament to the transformative power of faith and the fulfilling journey of serving as a shepherd of God's word.
